Welcome
For caregivers that need to lift and transfer a disabled patient in the home, there are now four
options: 1) Floor Lift, 2) Ceiling Lift, 3) Manual Lifting, and 4)
Portable Overhead Lifting
System
.
1)  Floor Lifts (sometimes known as "Hoyer" lifts) are often available
but are difficult to maneuver over thick carpeting, too large to turn in
tight spots and have reported to be unsafe.  Getting into and around
is practically impossible and using one to
is impossible to transfer a
disabled person to a standard bathtub.
3)  Manually Lifting a disabled person is not only backbreaking
work, but can also be quite dangerous, both for the person
being lifted as well as the caregiver.  Once a significant back
injury occurs to a caregiver, there is an increased chance that
the disabled person will be placed in a nursing home.
2)  Although Ceiling Lifts are available, they typically
require permanent and expensive modifications to the
home thus turning it into an institutional setting.
4)  With one of our Portable
Patient Lift Systems
, caregivers
can easily transfer family bed to
a wheelchair, or bed to a
wheelchair, or anywhere else
within the range anywhere else
within the range of the System
without of the System without
permanently defacing their
homes.  A
Portable Patient Lift
System
can be the enabling
factor that allows the home to be
the primary place for care.
